London House was clean and quiet. This is all we ask for when we travel abroad. Making the breakfast an optional choice each day helps to keep the costs down. We chose to eat in-house a few days, and not on others. The rooms are newly renovated and small (typical for London), but completely adequate. The common room in the lobby used to be the hotel bar. The bar service was discontinued because it was apparently not making money. Now it makes for a large free WiFi room. The staff was very helpful and friendly to us. Our room on the second floor had one tall window that looked out onto a lovely fenced-in garden (Kensington Square Garden) that is locked and only available for neighborhood residents. Close to Bayswayer and Queensway tube stations (about 2 blocks walk). It booked it entirely on the web and everything was in order when we arrived. I would recommend it again.
